Business Group Description:
Intels Sales and Marketing group provides world-class support at the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), developer and end-user levels. In addition, the group is involved in Internet and e-Commerce strategies, as well as the execution of worldwide Intel? architecture branded product strategies. Intels expanding breadth of products and recent acquisitions are providing vast opportunities in sales and marketing now and in the future for both the technical and business-oriented.
Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be working on the planning and implementation of projects and/or programs that support the marketing function. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Interacting directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization
- Working individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion
- Identifying, evaluating and recommending marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; providing pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supporting public relations and other marcom functions as necessary
Qualifications:
You should possess a Masters degree in Marketing or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A University degree and an M.B.A. is preferred.
Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with Internet and leading edge online usage
- Well engaged in leading and new web applications
- Solid understanding of latest concepts, practices, procedures and trends in the Web-marketing and Web technology
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to present analytical data and communicate both orally and written with people at all management levels
- Ability to work under pressure and in a crisis situation
- Chinese (Mandarin) and English fluency in speaking, reading and writing
- Knowledge of local Information Technology (IT) and/or computer industry
- Ability and Willingness for occasional international travel (<5%) and regular domestic travel (~20% of time)
- Tolerance for ambiguity and comfort working within a fast paced, changing environment
- Experience in Microsoft* Office Suite*
- Successful marketing leadership track record in China; technology marketing experience, prior business marketing would be an added advantage
Note: Experienced bachelor will also do, if she/he is very good in online stuffs, such as very active on the BBS/ online forum…etc…and knows how to manage the online marketing channels.
