The Risk & CRM Analyst intern position could be a key entry point for future analytics and/or business leaders within GE Money. This position is located at
newly established Shanghai GE Money Global Decision Center, which is built to
support GE Money business analytical needs. Currently, GE Money businesses contain portfolios including credit card, auto loan, sales finance, personal lo
an, mortgage, commercial lending, etc. At this position, you will have the opportunity to, in addition to enhancing business acumen and skills, learn about
and utilize the fundamentals of business analytics through participation in various assignments. Project assignments could include statistical modeling and scorecard building, portfolio strategy development and analysis, and profitability/pricing related business analysis. Your successful performance in this position could lead to many challenging career opportunities within GE Money, including yet to be limited to analyst, leadership program, etc.

Requirement:
· Bachelor degree holders and current master degree candidates who will finish graduate studies by 2009.
Candidates should hold degrees in disciplines with strong quantitative background, e.g. Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Natural Sciences, Economics, Management Science, and Engineering.
· Excellent communication skills including fluent English and ability to organizing thoughts and articulate them.
· Strong analytical aptitudes including broad skills in data manipulation. Statistics knowledge in the area such as multivariate and discriminate analysis
, multiple and logistic regression, factor analysis and clustering, is preferred.
· Motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, professional and willing to work hard.
· Be able to take international traveling and assignments.

Responsibilities:
· Provide analytics supports to GE Money businesses, including but not limited to:
· Use statistical tools to identify drivers of growth, losses, profitability of consumer portfolios (e.g. credit card, mortgage, auto loan), and to highlight business issues and opportunities.
· Participate in developing scorecards/statistical models, strategies to facilitate businesses.
· Participate in developing new modeling methodology and performing regular diagnostics to assess model performance.
· Collaborate with Asia region market’s risk and business teams to translate business problems into statistical ones, build and manage projects to utilize statistical tools to develop and implement actionable business solutions.
