[B]Introduction of the Position[/B]

Panasonic Beijing Laboratory is reconstructing a wireless research team
with its responsibility focused on 3GPP LTE-Advanced oriented research
and standardization. The team in Beijing is part of the Panasonics global
team for next generation mobile communications research and standardization.
Engineers in Beijing will work closely with other engineers in different
countries through email, video conference and regular face-to-face meeting.
This position provides an appealing opportunity for those who are confident
and eager to do both research on the emerging new technologies of wireless
communications as well as standardization.

[B]Main Areas of Responsibilities:[/B]

1.Being responsible for working out solutions and applying patent in the
emerging new technologies for IMT-Advanced standard.
2.Being responsible for making technical proposals to 3GPP LTE-Advanced
and attending 3GPP standardization meetings as a member of Panasonics
global team for 3GPP Standardization.
3.Being responsible for instructing interns and collaboration with local
university.


[B]Experience and Educational Requirements:[/B]

1.Having sound knowledge of the latest wireless technologies, like
MIMO,OFDM/OFDMA, LDPC, Relay etc.
2.Knowledgeable in specifications of 3GPP PHY (pre Rel-6 and/or LTE) or IEEE
802.16e/m is desired
3.Hands-on experience in link-level simulation and evaluation with Matlab.
4.Master or Ph.D. degree with 2 years experiences in closely related technical
area of wireless communications.
5.Experiences in academic publications and/or patents application are desired.
6.Good English communication skill is must.
7.Self-motivated.
