Consultant – Oracle Database Administrator

Location Shanghai

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor degree
English working environment, good spoken and written English skill is a must
Minimum of 2-3 years Oracle DBA experience
Strong team player, eager to take challenge
Excellent initiative, problem solving and communication skills
Experience with SQL server or DB2 is a plus


Role Description

Provide day to day problem resolution for existing Supported databases

Participate in on-call rotation for production support / ensure that response times are consistent with Service Level Agreements

Understand and use the Change Integration process and communicate upcoming events.

Performance Monitoring

Database Backup and Recovery

Ensure that databases follow Dow standards and comply with security guidelines.

Perform logical database design using Designer/2000

Perform design / code reviews for adherence to SQL standards / Best Practices

Understand, review, and provide input in to an application conceptual project data model.

Execute physical database design and build.

Architect data solutions

Perform configuration management
