通用电气研发中心(上海)招聘2008年夏季以前毕业的研究生，电气传动和电力系统专业 

Job Description 1: 

Qualifications/Requirements:  

* Doctorate or masterate in  Power Electronics Motor Drive 

* Familiar with 

          o Motor control theory, and design, including vector control / direct torque control of induction motors, synchronous motors, and DFIG 



          o Transient analysis of induction motors and synchronous motors 

          o Power electronics circuit analysis and design 

* Experience in control theory with a focus on control algorithms for motor drive system 

* Experience in real-time software design 

* Experience in simulation with Saber, Simulink, PSpice, PSim, EMTP/EMTDC etc. 

Desired:  

* Familiarity with power electronic applications in power systems. 

* Knowledge in transmission & distribution operation, controls, protection and automation  

* Knowledge in  generator excitation and speed controls, voltage / frequency control 

* Experience with alternative energy and distributed generation, e.g. Wind, PV, Fuel Cells, etc. 

* Strong  analytical  skills  



Job Description 2: 

Qualifications/Requirements:  

* Doctorate or masterate in  Power System 

* Familiar with 

          o Power system analysis, for systems with HVDC, FACTS, TCSC, etc. 

          o Power electronics applications in power system 

          o Transmission & distribution operation, controls, protection and automation 

          o Power system analysis tools for transient stability or electromagnetic transients. 

* Experience in control theory with a focus on control algorithms for power system 



Desired:  

* In-depth knowledge in power conversion, controls 

* Detail understanding of generator excitation and speed controls, voltage / frequency control 

* Knowledge of motor drive control 

* Experience with alternative energy and distributed generation, e.g. Wind, PV, Fuel Cells, etc. 

* Strong  analytical  skills
