Responsibilities and key activities:
?Responsible to lead China Unit Services and Solutions’ Engineering organization in strong link and collaboration with Global Engineering organization
?Make sure digital solutions innovation capabilities are further developed
?Define and execute engineering domain development, best practices and daily R&D work
?Coordinate, execute and deliver world class customer centric solutions by utilizing agile ways of working
?Collaborate with stakeholders and represents technology in steering groups and other relevant forums
?Selected candidate reports to Head of Services and Solutions R&D, China and in matrix to Global Head of Engineering
Requirements:
?Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Electronics or other relevant engineering background with demonstrated ability to manage and develop physical and digital solutions
?Minimum 7 years of working experience in international company by leading both domestic & abroad multi-site R&D teams in virtual & matrix environment
?Hands-on experience to manage a large scale high availability digital platform and B2B & B2C services
?Several years leadership experience with strong capabilities to utilize Lean and Agile methodologies and frameworks
?Strong skills and understanding of:
oModern end-to-end SW development processes and tooling including hands-on experience on coding
oSW architecture including both IoT platforms & services and edge devices
oCapability to recognize solution’s end-user experience needs true seamless co-operation between HW and SW domains
oUnderstand life cycle of HW and SW and its effect on our ways of operation
oSee bigger picture for whole portfolio and recognize technologies and competences needs to realize it
oStrong self-motivation and capability to learn new everyday
oTeamwork spirit, good communication and coordination skills
oExcellent English writing and speaking skills. Strong Chinese is considered as an advantage.
